This is something totally new for me. This dog is owned by a customer of mine. The dog has been by her side through some serious illnesses and means a lot to her. I thought I would bless her with this drawing. Besides, I have wanted to try drawing an animal for a while.

Many of you probably already know this, but drawing animal fur is harder then it looks. I have a renewed respect for Paul Lung!

Excellent. His/her eyes are so alive and beautiful. Yes, fur is extremely difficult to draw. You did a very good job on and around the head and neck. I would not have the patience to make sure each and every pencil stroke is going exactly in the right direction. You did a great job and your customer will cherish this forever.
